✝️ BREAD OF THE WEEK
What if the very song you sing in your darkest night…
is the key God uses to set you free?
Verse of the Week:
📖 “About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken, and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s bonds were unfastened.”
— Acts 16:25-26 (WEB)

Personal Reflection:
Gratitude doesn’t always come easy.
Especially when the bruises are fresh, the walls are closing in,
and you don’t know when—or if—the door will open.
Paul and Silas had every reason to give in to despair.
Instead, they chose worship.
Not because they felt like it… but because they knew God was still worthy.
And when they sang… heaven responded.
The earthquake didn’t just free them—it set everyone in the prison loose.
Your gratitude is more powerful than you realize.
It not only shifts your focus from the walls to the God who can break them…
it can ripple out to others who hear you sing.
Prayer of Midnight Gratitude
Lord,
Thank You for being present in the midnight hour.
Thank You that my chains do not define me.
Teach me to worship before the breakthrough,
to praise when the night feels endless,
and to believe that You can shake the ground beneath my feet.
Use my gratitude to encourage others,
and let my song be a testimony that You are still in control.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

3 Ways to Practice Midnight Gratitude This Week:
Name one blessing in your darkest moment. When you feel fear creeping in, speak gratitude aloud.
Sing before the answer comes. Worship is most powerful when it’s offered in faith, not just relief.
Encourage someone else’s midnight. Share your testimony with a friend who’s struggling—they may need to hear your song.
🍽️ PRAYER PANTRY
This week, let’s pray for anyone in a “midnight” season—feeling trapped, weary, or forgotten.
If that’s you… we’re lifting you up right now.
If you know someone, forward this to remind them they’re not alone.
🙏 Prayer:
Lord,
For the one who feels chained by fear—shake the ground under their feet.
For the one who’s lost hope—restore their song.
And for every reader here—remind them You are nearer than the breath they breathe.
Let their gratitude unlock freedom.
Let their praise ripple into someone else’s breakthrough.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
Praying for you this week—He hears every word.
