Reflection:
In ancient times, a name wasn’t just what people called you, it told a story about your character, your destiny, your identity.
A name was a revelation of who you were and who you were meant to be.
When God revealed His Names to His people:
Jehovah Jireh, El Shaddai, Jehovah Shalom, and more -
He wasn’t just introducing Himself.
He was telling a story:
"I am the God who provides. The God who fights for you. The God who heals you. The God who sees you and calls you Mine."
And when He sent His Son into the world, He gave Him the greatest Name of all:
Jesus - meaning "The Lord Saves."
Every Name of God is part of a larger story.
A love story.
A rescue story.
A story where you and I are the ones He came to save.
And today, when you speak His Name, you are stepping into that story —
a story of hope, healing, and eternal victory.
Father,
Thank You for revealing Your heart to us through Your Names.
You are Jehovah Jireh — our Provider.
You are El Shaddai — our Almighty strength.
You are Adonai — our Lord and Master.
You are Yahweh Nissi — our Banner in every battle.
You are Jehovah Rapha — our Healer.
You are Abba Father — our safe place and home.
And above all, You have given us the Name above every name -
the Name of Jesus.
This week, help us walk in the power of Your promises.
Remind us that no fear is stronger than Your peace,
no need is greater than Your provision,
no battle is bigger than Your victory.
Let the Name of Jesus be on our lips,
in our hearts,
and over every part of our lives.
We surrender this week to You.
We walk forward not in our strength -
but in the strength of Your Name.
In Jesus' mighty, matchless Name we pray,
Amen.

From one imperfect believer to another — I’m so glad we’re walking this journey together.
Keep going. Keep trusting. He hasn’t let go.
When my son was little, he would pray the Lord’s Prayer —
but he always said, "Give us this day our daily bread and butter."
It was such a sweet reminder that God doesn't just provide what we need —
He gives us more than enough.
