✝️ BREAD OF THE WEEK

Verse of the Week:

“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”
– John 8:36

Personal Reflection:
This weekend in America, we celebrate national freedom. But deep down, a lot of us are still feeling stuck.

We say we believe.
We read the Word.
We try to pray.

But somewhere in the quiet, we wonder: Why do I still feel bound?

Bound by shame.
Bound by fear.
Bound by thoughts we never invited but can’t seem to shake.

The truth is, you can live in a free country and still be a prisoner inside.

But Jesus came to unlock the prison door — and your job isn’t to earn your way out… it’s simply to walk out.
The freedom you’re longing for has already been bought. Now it’s time to live like it.

Lord,
Thank You for the freedom You’ve already given me. Help me stop picking up chains You’ve already broken. Show me the places where I’m still living like a captive — and teach me to walk in truth. Thank You that I don’t have to earn Your love, and I don’t have to fix myself before I come to You. You already opened the door… now give me the courage to walk through it.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

What I’m Listening to:

3 Ways to Walk in Spiritual Freedom This Week:

1. Speak freedom out loud.
Start your day by declaring a verse like John 8:36 or Galatians 5:1. Say it aloud. Let truth shape your atmosphere.

2. Stop the shame spiral.
When old guilt creeps in, ask: Did I already bring this to Jesus? If so — let it go. Don’t rehearse what’s already been redeemed.

3. Take one brave step.
Freedom isn’t about feeling fearless. It’s about acting in faith — even when you’re scared. Take one step toward obedience this week, no matter how small.

🍽️ PRAYER PANTRY

I’m asking for prayers for those impacted by the flooding in central Texas. So many have lost loved ones and so many adults and children are still missing. Please lift these families up in prayer this week! If you feel led to give, I know this organization personally and know the funds will be used to bless those in need.

Lord,

We lift up every family impacted by the flooding in Texas.
Surround them with Your protection, provision, and peace.
Comfort those who’ve lost homes, belongings, or loved ones — and send help swiftly to where it's needed most. Let churches and neighbors rise up in love, and may Your presence be felt even in the devastation.

We trust You to bring hope, healing, and restoration.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

Carrying a request or battle this week?
💬 Just reply to this email — we’ll lift it up in prayer.
We’re standing with you, and more importantly, He hears every word.

Praying you feel lighter this week — not because life is easy, but because the chains no longer belong on you.

In grace and freedom,
Marilyn
